Socks for the Sock Project

Since these two socks didn't match much, I decided to donate them to the Sock Project which I think is part of the WarmSockWarmHeart group. I used Dee's Take Five pattern for them. It's a fun one.

Then I searched through my sock WIPs and found this one which was all done except for sewing in the ends. This was Knitters Brewing Company's Let It Snow sock, the result of a mystery pattern.  It's quite pretty, but I decided I'd probably never finish sock# 2.  So off it goes to a good project.

The snowflake shows up best head-on, doesn't it?

What are you up to on this Saturday?  It's chilly and grey here, but it wasn't raining on our walk, thankfully!  Have a good weekend.

Those are both great for donation. Someone will LOVE them.

Crazy weather here today. Sunny one moment and then we had SNOW SQUALL EMERGECY alerts on our phones. For about 15 minutes it snowed like crazy. Now the sun is out again.

Those are great socks and will be very welcome by the sock project. I need to get more made for them too. I have way too many committments this year.
It was 60F here yesterday. 30F today and supposed to be 63F tomorrow before temps plummet all next week. Craziness in the weather!
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

Pretty socks! Windy and cold today, and even more frigid air is expected next week. The predicted high Mon-Thurs is 5° to -5°. I’m staying inside for sure.

Both pairs of socks are pretty--the snowflake one is a new pattern to me--very cool!

Nice socks!

Today was very cold, so I sewed all afternoon and cross stitched in the evening!

Thought I'd stop by to visit your blog, since you visited us.
Yes, we live northeast of Metro Detroit, Michigan, and see more of Canada from Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River than the average area resident.
I used to knit baby blankets, until we adopted Celestial Angel and Chuck, cat fursibs, and they attacked the yard, the needles...so I put everything away.
Perhaps I'll break them out again, but still have rowdy cats!
