Another Finish and Sure Signs of Spring, HURRAH!

Yesterday I finished this fun knit, and it's on its way to a friend's granddaughter. The pattern is One Plus on Ravelry.

Two Friday's ago, this is what it looked like near Sequim  on the way home from Port Angeles!
We were very happy to reach the ferry without incident.

And now the spring flowers are blooming in our yard!

What a welcome sight! I love spring!

It has definitely been a definitely strange season. We've had terrible winds and crazy weather in general. No flowers in my yard yet either although they look like they're trying.
Take care,
Blessings,
Betsy

Adorable little sweater.

This spring has been CRAZY. You never know what clothes to put on in the morning.

I think it was you that asked about bleeding hearts and whether we had them here. I said I thought so. Today I had proof. Yes, the do grow here. We saw some in a front garden bed of a house. They were already blooming among the tulips and daffodils.

Lovely little sweater! We had a warm spell in February that brought out all the blooms so spring seems so far away now even though the trees are just starting to fill out again. It's been so weird weather wise. A regular roller coaster of hot and cold.

That baby sweater is perfect. Your spring f1owers bring me hope. I have some daffodils open and other have those tiny b1ue f1owers in their grasses. The weather is gray again Judy. Gray and Co1d. A11ison has a ear1y warm spring in Ok1ahoma and we may go visit. They had crazy storms there a few days ago.

the sweater is so cute!! We had super hot weather this weekend and now it's 38 degrees, I'm not complaining, I'd rather be cold than hot.

The sweater is adorable. Your friend will be thrilled to receive that. OMG, those road conditions, very scary. Glad you made it ok. Think I would not have ventured on the roads, spent the night where you were in hopes of better weather the next day. Spring is coming, though it keeps fooling us. We'll have a nice day, then cold and frost the next.

I've never been to Port Angeles, but there is a ferry from here that I've often seen going there. One of these days I'll have to book myself for a trip there! Here's to spring flowers!
