I am in the middle of making a prayer shawl for a friend who's just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and don't have any finishes, but I still try to walk everyday. Yesterday this is what I saw! It's a little early, don't you think? And kinda scary, too! It is only mid-September, isn't it?

I've noticed holiday stuff, no matter WHAT holiday, goes up earlier and earlier. We have Halloween stuff up around here already too.
Remember when Christmas didn't start until AFTER Thanksgiving. Poor Thanksgiving, the forgotten holiday.
I think it is early too. I'm still enjoying the end of summer. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Dennis's sister had pancreatic cancer and it is not nice at all. It's very kind of you to make her a prayer shawl and I'm sure she will cherish it and your prayers.

We've got those giant skellys everywhere too already. They give me nightmares. So far no one in my direct neighborhood has any. Thank goodness. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Lol. Dave keeps telling me to put up my stuff outside, but I told him not until Oct 1st! (I feel like if we do it too early, it loses its magic)
