Our corn plant decided to bloom recently! The flower doesn't smell very good though and it drips a wax-like substance, so it's been removed.
And outside this crocosmia was looking great until a deer pruned it. Those flowers must taste great.
I finally finished this hat! It's supposed to be an easy pattern, but it made me crazy.
Happy Sunday!

I like the twisty on the hat. So sad the deer snacked on your flowers...
I think I"ve made that hat before, or at least a similar one. That's sure a pretty plant, sorry about those pesky deer.
Blessings,
Betsy
Too bad about the corn plant flower--our plant is outside and so I never noticed if it dripped! lol The hat is a beauty; I've wanted to knit one for years but never got around to it! Nicely done.
How neat! My corn plant never bloomed! It did however get a bad case of mealy bugs that I couldn't get rid of so it went into the trash, sadly. It was one of the my first "adult" house plants. Mom gave it to me when I moved into the the first townhouse.
Great looking hat!
Sorry to hear about the crocosmia... and that's one that's usually sold a deer-resistant! Guess your deer didn't get the message.
I've never seen either of those plants before. How cool they are.
The hat is lovely but I can see how that spiral would give you fits. I think I made something like that ages ago and it wasn't fun either.
Not sure I've ever seen a corn plant before; but having it drip stuff indoors yikes. LOVE the hat color, but I can see why it drove you crazy, sorta makes me dizzy looking at it. It looks good and warm.
I'd never heard of a corn plant - had to look it up. It's too bad the blooms have to be so messy.
The hat is very cute, even if it did drive you crazy!
