Summer Flowers

The lilies are done now, but the black-eyed Susan vine is headed up to our second floor. The red dahlia is full of buds, and the indoor plant that's called Moses in the boat has lots of boats with flowers.  Don't you just love this time of year?😄

Enjoy the last few days of August and have a Happy Labor Day weekend!

Beautiful flowers. Sadly our garden is done for the year,I think. The drought has damaged almost everything. I'm already cutting back the dead and dying. Usually that doesn't happen until first frost.

Pretty blooms. The Moses plant is a new one to me - unusual bloom and aptly named.

Those are some interesting blooms! Nothing is blooming here anymore and this is the time of year I always miss having mums.

Beautiful blooms! We are still getting lots of tomatoes and some cucumbers and zuchinni. Mom loves the tomatoes so most of them go to her.
Enjoy your flowers.

The flowers are so pretty--I love the way each has its turn in the garden!
