Another Sock and a Little Quiz ~

I just finished another WIP! I love this pattern, and it's a fun knit. Don't ask me why it took me so long to finish though.

And here's the quiz: can you identify this plant we saw on a recent hike in Port Angeles, WA. (It has an interesting history, too!)

In My next post, I'll show you photos from our recent visit to Port Angeles and our adventures on the Olympic Discovery Trail that runs from Port Townsend to La Push and is 135 miles long!  No, we didn't hike nearly that far.

Hope you are having a good week!

Love the pattern and the color of the socks. I can see why you like the pattern and I've saved it in my library to make soon.
I have no idea of the plant. I'm terrible with plants. But, I always wanted to visit Port Orchard when we lived in Spokane. Debbie Macomber is my favorite author and I wanted to visit her tearoom.
Take care!
Blessings,
Betsy

The socks look great! I've used that pattern and it's a fun one. That's one crazy looking plant. I swear something from outer space is dropping seeds down on us. I've seen some weird looking ones myself lately.

No help on the plant. Funny little white flower in the middle of the leaf. There's an app where you can take a picture of a plant and ID it. Don't remember the name of the app, but you might have luck googling. Pretty socks, love the texture.

Your Spring Forward socks are very pretty.

I don't know what your plant is, but the leaves sure are interesting. I use a free app, Seek, to identify things in nature. It's not the best app out there, but it is the FREE one.

Hope someone has an answer for you.

My sisters and I stayed in Port Angeles several years ago. That’s such a pretty area. Great job on the socks!
