All Gone!

Our snow is all gone except for this little bit. The good news is that the plants seem to have survived the cold!

Warmer temperatures and the rain helped a lot.

One day recently, after we had walked in the rain, the skies cleared and we had a beautiful sunset.

A few days ago I got a surprise package in the mail, this beautiful table runner that was crocheted by my friend Becca.  She knows that I love anything with hearts.  Isn't it lovely?

~

Nothing else to report.  My current projects are coming along but won't be finished any time soon.  We'll see whether I can finish something totally different this week!

The table runner is BEAUTIFUL!

We are supposed to get some MORE snow tomorrow. I'm not sure where we are going to pile what we shovel. LOL Thankfully, warmer weather is coming starting on Wednesday.

That table runner is gorgeous! I've been looking for a similar pattern with hearts. Do you think your friend would share where she found it?
We're supposed to have temps in the 40's tomorrow. That should start the melting process. I heard on the news that Snoqualamie and Steven Passes are both closed tonight. We had friends heading to Seattle today. I sure hope they made it before the closing. I haven't been able to reach her by text/phone. I've been praying a LOT.
Blessings,
Betsy

We are still covered in ice but it is supposed to get up to the 40's this afternoon so I hope it will soon be gone. That table runner is so pretty. It reminds me of my great grandmother who did beautiful lace crochet and had lots of doilies and table runners all over the house. I wish I had saved some. Araignee

what a pretty surprise to receive in the mail - such a thoughtful kind gift. Glad the snow didn't damage anything - we are supposed to get another 3-5 inches today!

You are more than welcome to come and take some of our snow!
It's actually raining today, but I don't think it will get rid of it all. But it's supposed to stay above freezing all week, so I guess we'll see. We've still got a lot of winter left here... there's all of March to get through!

Judy, I cannot find ANYPLACE that has room for more wedding dresses. Seems a lot of people love the idea but they have very few seamstresses. Look around. There is a place where I got on a waiting list. It is near me and they try to match folks with others who are looking to sew the gowns.
