Another Hat and a Pretty View

If you want to practice cables, this is the hat for you!

This is the view I saw on my walk yesterday. I thought it was interesting that the sky and the mountains were blue. If you look carefully, you can see Seattle in the distance. Not long after I got back home, the sky became totally cloudy, and I was glad I went when I did!

Hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day!

Nice hat! You've got some view there. I can't imagine taking a walk and being able to see mountains. It's so flat here by the bay. Whenever I've been to a place where you can see them I've been in awe. They don't seem real.

Beautiful peep of blue sky. February has been surprisingly sunny. But not today - today is lake effect snow day... we have to wait and see how much we get. I think it's going to be more than they predicted

Nice looking hat. I haven't done cables in a long time. Last thing I made was a cotton washcloth.......note to self, cotton is not a good fiber to use when making cables...not much give to it. Beautiful picture, glad you got to see the view before the weather prevented it.

That is a pretty view.

There is an overlook near us where I can see 5 different levels of the Appalachian Mountains. On a hazy day you can't see the difference between the sky and the ridges. It all looks like sky/clouds. I've tried to take a photo, but it just doesn't do justice to what you see with your eyes.

Your hat looks so cozy. That yarn is gorgeous.
