I've only seen an eagle once in my yard and once was enough. It scared me to death. Those things are BIG. I was alerted to its presence by all the other birds raising a very loud fuss. They must have an alarm system that lets all the other critters know when they are in the neighborhood so they can hide.
Beautiful eagles. That's one of the things I miss about the lake in Washington. We had eagles that nested every year above our spot. Every year we watched as the babies frew and flew the nest. Gorgeous. Happy Mothers Day. Blessings and hugs, Betsy

Happy Mother's day!
The azalea bush is beautiful--I like to spot Bald Eagles but do worry about them swooping down for one of my cats!
Such wonderful scenery! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome pictures of the Eagles! Wow, what a sight. How nice your azalea tree bloomed in time for Mother's Day. Hope your day was special.

Aren't they handsome? (Bald eagles, I mean, though the azalea are lovely!) We have them around here too. It's always such a thrill to see them.
