Phew!

These three are on their way back to Chicago as of this afternoon.

And these two are recovering from all this week's loving.
A cap
A cowl
Fingerless gloves
In between giving hugs, reading stories, and cooking, I finished up a few quick projects. It's been a very busy and happy week~~~BUT no baby! Maybe he's aiming to be number 1 of 2012?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Great photos! Glad you had a fun time. Your kitties are so sweet too...the gray & white one especially. Of course I love those fingerless gloves! I think your grand baby wants to bring in the new year!

I truly understand the 'Phew!' :-) Our family was here from Monday until this morning. It was wonderful and hectic and crazy...and now it's quiet, with two exhausted dogs and two cats that can come out of hiding. lol

I think it's a great idea for the BABY to arrive on New Year's Day!

You've been an inspiration to me over the year, Judy. I actually finished TWO hooded sweaters to give to the littlest grandsons for Christmas. They wear about a size 2. The sweaters are more like a size 3-4 (but that's because I used the size 8 Addi Turbo needles I had, rather than buying additional size 7 that it called for.) Now I'm working on a raspberry sorbet colored sweater cuz I'm on a ROLL!!!

Have a wonderful 2012. Thanks so much for being a faithful reader and commenter on Cranberry Morning! :-)

I'm glad you have a good visit. Lovely projects that look nice and warm. Waiting is hard, but what a nice new year's present you'll have.

Sounds like you had a busy but fun week. Great projects. Thinking of you and your family as you wait as this baby decides to make his/her grand entrance into the world. :-) So exciting

I know it was wonderful having them, but life is a lot slower when they go. =) Your finishes look great! Hope you don't need gloves too often this winter!

I know what you mean about the quiet. Looks like you were very productive even while you had company for the holidays! Great job. We're wondering... New Year's? or still waiting?? Blessings and Happy New Year~ Tanna

Hi, Happy New Year, you've been busy between the grandkids and your beautiful knitting. I'm excited, my daughter has learned to knit and has made the whole family scarves, a good place to start!
