A Get Well Bear for Keanon

We just had good news this afternoon. Our friends' little grandbaby, who just had open heart surgery on Tuesday, is doing very well and may get to go home soon, maybe even this evening! I must get this bear in the mail. It was a fun knitting project from a kit using Bernat Fur-out yarn and will come with lots of love in the stitching.

Hi Sweetheart! You caught me online darlin...thanks so much for always coming by and saying hello...

Yes that is Brazilian Embroidery..and those threads are a bear to work with sometime..probably why I kept putting off working on it... ;) Thanks for the kudos on it darlin..

I think you asked about Norbert my Red Tail Hawk... He has been coming to my house since he was a young hawk and use to fly "into" the fence, the tree bench and the arbor..goofy bird. However he is older now and better at landing. He is so beautiful and now that he is older his tail is now the true red of these wonderful creatures.

I love that bear! I thought it was made from fur until I read your post. And God bless that little Angel who has just recently had surgery.. I am so happy to hear that everything went well..

Love your rabbits! I don't get any because of Norbert...and I would be out there everyday giving him a what for if we did have. any...

Wonderful knitting by the way. That was something I could never do..that and crocheting (oh yeah and putting up curtain rods...unbelievable....) I am all thumbs and get all discombobulated.. Hubby calls me an accident just waiting to happen.. Ah well... ;)

Hi Judy,
what a good new about the little baby, I hope he/she will come home soon.
You asked me about the cross stitch motif in blue with the little girl of the Netherlands on my blog and who stitched it. I don't know, I bought it 10 years ago from a market with old towels and it is about 50 years old. It wasn't used, and I don't use it,it's an original, so it's an "old-new" towel.
Have nice weekend without blizzard and take care
Gabriele, loving the bear...

You are so sweet!!! Ya, it is true that water is scarcity of water. We have some pretty wildflowers right now but other than a few short weeks in spring we usually have baron dirt unless we water it ourselves.
I am so glad that we have the mulberry tree in common. I just love the large leaves that create a lot of shade. Many people around plant evergreens but they usually hurt the soil more.
You are so sweet about my kids. I have been watching though and you have some really cute munchkins around too. LOL
Thanks again,
Wendy
