Mama liked baby's hat so much, she wanted one, too. I had to modify the pattern because it became way, too big, so the only thing I used was the number of stitches and the extra rows of strawberry seeds. (It took me longer to finish it because I had to have surgery for a gallstone which was really weird because I had my gall bladder removed years ago!)
I made the leaves on the new hat match the ones on the baby's hat as you can probably see. That was a bit of a challenge because there are more stitches in the leaves than in the smaller one.

That hat is adorable and the idea of a mother/daughter combo is the cutest thing ever.
I'm sorry to hear about your surgery. I had no idea that could happen. I don't have a gall bladder anymore either so I guess I better go Google that.
