Despite the rain, we went to Gig Harbor last Wednesday to celebrate Dick's birthday, and now we are both the same age again! 😉 Where we stayed was right on the water and within the walking distance of two nearby restaurants. (Both times we made it back to our place without getting too wet, but it did rain all night and hasn't quit since we got back home.)
As you can see, it was really foggy and wet the next morning, but that heron on the dock outside of our place didn't mind at all.

It's been raining ever since we got back home, and the rain is supposed to continue for days, so there will be lots of knitting and maybe even some sewing completed to show for my next post! Today we are getting a new dishwasher which adds a bright spot to our day, hurrah.

Of all the things about my new kitchen to love, it is my dishwasher. The one we had before never worked and now I don't know how I got along without one.
Yay for a new dishwasher. We had 75F and sunshine for the past few days. I think probably the last warm weather before the cooler/colder weather hits for the next few months.
I miss the foggy/wet weather we used to have when we visited Lincoln City, OR and all up and down the coast. I miss the smell of saltwater. Maybe someday we'll make it make there again. Thanks for sharing the beautiful views with us.

Enjoy the new dishwasher. We got one a couple years back. This one actually WASHES the dishes. LOL
We are having lots of cold grey days but I don't mind. Im finally getting stuff done inside.
