I finally finished this hat and just discovered it's the fourth time I've used this pattern! This time, however, it fought me all the way for some odd reason.
Our good friend gave us this Amaryllis recently, and it's sprouting with the biggest flower bud we've ever seen. It also looks like there's another bud as well. Wow!
Well, it's time to get back to the rest of my "finish in December" projects.

Very pretty hat! The amaryllis will be gorgeous!
I keep forgetting to purchase an amaryllis. Thanks for the reminder. I like the hat you knit.
Cute hat. It may have been a battle but it looks like you won!
It's a beautiful hat that you knit. Why is it that we can know a pattern well and sometimes still struggle with it? A mystery for sure.
That amaryllis is going to be a stunner and I really like the planter. Very imaginative.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Love the yarn in the hat!!!
I just planted an amaryllis last week - probably won't bloom in time for Christmas, but it will be nice in the new year.
love the crown construction! beautiful yarn too.
I think I have that yarn! I made a hat with it as well, and have another ball that I can use for another. It's very soft, and I love the colours. I'm going to have to find that pattern, it looks interesting. Excellent finish!
