Off the Needles at Last!

Haven't gotten around to posting this yet, but I finally finished this scarf that I started a long time ago.  Don't know why I didn't finish it but must have been distracted by another more interesting project.  But it is DONE now. Yay!

The pattern is Ann Norling's Short Row Multi-Directional Scarf and the yarn is Taos.  It's actually a fun project, and I've already started my fourth one.  You can make it any width you wish. Nothing else to show in the project department, but look who showed up last week?

Not sure whether it's the same one or now, but it seems like this deer comes to our yard every Wednesday!  On last week's visit it did some snacking and seems to me to be saying, "Excuse me, but you interrupted my lunch!" I wonder whether it'll show up tomorrow?

Happy Easter/Passover everyone! And happy stitching/knitting, too!

Your scarf is very pretty. Lovely colors.

The deer is interesting. The coloring on its side is different from most deer I've seen.

He does look like he would like to get back to his snacking!

Nice finish on the scarf and great photo of the deer. Do you suppose they get into a routine like people do? Meeting here today? tomorrow there?

I agree with Dee that the deer's coloring is unique.

Love the scarf and the yarn color you used.

That's a spectacular scarf-a real show stopper!
Mr/Mrs Deer is adorable munching away on the shrubbery. I've had some close encounters myself on a few walks lately. I need to put bells on so I don't startle them. I wouldn't want to get stepped on!

Love your scarf Judy! Perhaps your visitor is trying to get you to let it try it on? It looks pretty furry for a deer - maybe it's cold :*)

The scarf looks like a fun pattern to knit, and it's interesting the way the yarn stripes. Is Taos long or short color runs?

Love that scarf, and I think I have that pattern. Love the deer shot too :)

Love the colors in the scarf! I've made only one scarf like that. I think the yarn choice makes it even more interesting.

I've wondered, too, if animals get a little routine. It seems they do, but it doesn't often last more than a few weeks.

Love the scarf and yarn you chose. I'm definitely adding that pattern to my list. I think I have a couple of yarns in the stash that will work.

Love the scarf and pretty colors. Thanks for sharing the wildlife. We have Toms mating with the hens. Beautiful feathers all fanned out. Happy Easter.

I love the scarf. How do you think it would make up with left over sock yarns?

(you can keep the darling deer - I can barely feed the creatures who call this home}

What a fun scarf! I love the spring colors. Knitting something 4 times -- is definitely a good sign for a pattern.
