Yet Another Pair of Booties

My only recent finish at the moment is yet another pair of booties.  Lots of spring babies, I think. I will deliver these on Thursday at choir to the baby's grandma.

Our son-in-law sent a few more photos from our trip to Breckenridge.  This one was taken after their arrival in Denver after 24 hours on the train from Chicago. The kids survived the rest of the day amazingly well.

These two hadn't seen each other since last July, but they picked up right where they left off!

The intrepid skiers having lunch together on their last day on the slopes.

Spring really is coming to the Pacific Northwest, albeit way too slowly!  This tree was given to us by a friend after the passing of my mother almost 38 years ago.

Have a great week!

Aren't booties such a fun quick knit?!

That is a beautiful tree. I wish I had room here for something like that.

Those booties look SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO soft!

The kids and little kids all look great. Looks like they have a great time when you get together.

We have a lot of those pink trees blooming here too. There are some white ones, but they aren't dogwoods. Not sure what they are. The daffodils and crocus are up and oh my .............the forsythia. It is everywhere and oh so beautiful!

I wish train travel was an option for all of our country. Passenger trains don't stop in Wyoming anymore. Sigh!

I love train travel. I got a sleeper once from Chicago and it was heaven. That whole dining car thing is just like something out of a movie.

That is a beautiful tree and those booties looks so soft and snuggly. We still have nothing blooming over here. It’s chilly and wet. It looks like a lot of fun was had on your trip. I love it when the kids get together and make those lasting family memories.
Blessings always, Betsy

What is that tree? We've been through tulip trees, Bradford pears, flowering plums, cherry trees, crocus, Amaryllis, the first dandelions, Narcissus and daffodils, and tulips. Now it's Azaleas and dogwood and redbud, but there's no nice spring! We volley from 82 to 44 for highs this week, and it's been like that every week since mid-February, except the ones that were worse, and mostly wet days. I figure we'll nose dive into summer with no real spring at all! Baby booties are so tiny!
