Home Again!

We just got back from a fun family gathering in Breckenridge, Colorado. My hats were a hit and came in handy in the cold, crisp air.

The cousins had fun together playing hide and seek, taking skiing lessons, and enjoying each others' company.

Battleship seemed to be the favorite game of the four youngest.
.

And I even completed a pair of socks in one of the quieter moments.

Hope everyone had a nice Easter; we were home in time to have dinner out with a good friend.  Driving home, we encountered an April Fool's snow squall.  It was really crazy as we left the sunny Des Moines Marina and drove north into dark clouds, slushy rain, and then a dusting of snow on our hill.  Very strange!

The kiddos sure are growing up.

The new socks look very handsome.

Family gatherings are fun, especially when little ones are around. I loved playing a Battleship with my niece and nephew. Love all the hats and the socks - well done.

It looks like a great time was had by all. I’m glad you’re safely home. Lots of rain predicted on this side of the mountains this week.

The weather has been FULL of April Fool stunts! LOVE the cousins in their hats! So cute! And, needed for your Easter. We were very LUCKY with our beautiful Easter weather. A cold front blew in Monday (not as cold as this!). Your socks look great, Judy. Yes, I'm working on an afghan... now to get back to it after the herd has gone home! Ha! Have a great week. blessings ~ tanna

Lovely family Judy, the kids are cute and the hats are the bomb! The kids are in Seattle this week for Spring break, can’t imagine why they’d holiday there this time of year, but they didn’t consult me. I did tell them to dress warm.
