What's This Tree?

Chocolate is a fruit!
The first time we saw this tree was in the arboretum in Pittsburgh, PA, and this time it was growing happily OUTSIDE at the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, which has twenty-five acres of beautiful plants, many of which were blooming.

Hi Judy, I so enoy botanical gardens, specially the greenhouses. I would have been a good candidate for Biosphere.. LOL

Interesting photo. I don't think I've ever seen the cocoa bean, though I knew about it. How cool.

Judy, this is very cool. I had no idea how chocolate was 'grown'. I always assumed it was in the ground.
