Ans the wild and crazy socks aren't aren't nearly as bright and pretty as they were. I am wondering whether they will continue to fade with more washings, too. Sigh!
We saw these Crocosmia on the way home from Newport. I know a deer that would have loved them, too.
Happily that same critter left us a few day lilies.
Have a great weekend!

Wow....that is some fading!
Crazy fading! I'd give the socks a good vinegar bath to hopefully stop the bleeding.
That is so sad about the yarn fading like that. I would send a letter to the mfg. and let them know how disappointed you are.
On the other hand ........they are STILL pretty!
So glad you liked your goodies!
I think you should email the yarn company about that fading. That is not right! We knitters take color seriously.
I hope the socks don't fade too much.
My crocosmia just started to bloom! Pics soon!
They sure did fade a lot but I still like the muted colors. They look sort of like the colors I’ve been seeing in the stores, so see, you’re right in style!
Blessings,
Betsy
My lilies are just now blooming and so far, the deer have not found them.
Gotta be careful what you wash those socks with! Actually I like the look.
sorry that your colors are fading. Have you soaked it in salt water to maybe stop the bleed? I've had some yarns do that and it's sad - but your socks are pretty no matter how wild they are!!
You dont have to knit a find your fade shawl now. HAHAHAH. Not funny when it fades...sorry
I'm sorry they aren't as bright as you were hoping, but they are still very pretty socks.
