Even the mountains were out on this gloriously sunny day! Our garden appreciated the sunshine also. Here is what we saw early in the day.
And here is how the same poppy looked when we came back home.
Meanwhile, I'm still working on the long neglected beaded shawl, trying hard to get the correct stitch count for the border, but this scarf below, one of my favorite patterns for multi-colored yarn, is now finished. Hopefully it won't be needed for a good long while! It does go with our blue skies though, doesn't it?
Carpe diem! Enjoy the sunshine wherever you are, too.

That poppy is stunning, Judy!! YES, enjoy the sunshine! We've been having rain, but I'm happy for that, too. Great for the grass and plants! Beautiful blue scarf... it does go with your blue skies! Enjoy! blessings ~ tanna
LOvely scarf and beautiful poppy, but What did you buy at the stores. We want to join the fun.
The poppy is beautiful in the sunlight. Blue sky here today after some dreary and dripping skies the last few days.
Glad you had a delightful outing.
Love the diagonal scarf. I tried a free pattern on Ravelry for a similar style. No matter how carefully I followed the pattern, my stitch count was always off. The designer wouldn't answer my questions, so I frogged the scarf and tossed the pattern in the round file.
Yay for sunshine. We could use some but I know when it comes back it will be HOT and I hate HOT. Love the scarf. The colors really worked well with that pattern.
That poppy is BEAUTIFUL as is your scarf.
No sun for us today or tomorrow and we are darn glad of it. We need the rain that is promised!
That poppy! It's gorgeous. We had a lovely day here on the east side too. The next two are supposed to be much cooler, but no rain is expected so that's okay! Enjoy your beautiful days.
Blessings,
Betsy

Wow, a little sun makes a huge difference to the flowers and the people, doesn't it? The scarf is looking good. Are you finished singing for the season?
