We All Survived!

Precious little in the way of any kind of crafting, except for a few unsuccessful attempts at drawing monster trucks, happened this past week.  We were babysitting these two while their parents rendezvoued  in Hong Kong over the weekend after Mommy's business trip. We were well occupied from Thursday evening until mid-Sunday when the other grandparents took over.  (Good thing!  We were pretty tired by then.)  Mama should be done with Customs and on her way home by now, and Daddy gets back this evening.  What an adventure it was for everyone!

Strawberries were a big hit, and we even managed to get everyone, including me, dressed and off to preschool on Friday.

We are back home now, and the cats are happier even though we made trips back to care for them.  Little Miss and Big Brother don't believe we have cats as the two of them are gone as soon as the kids set foot inside the house.  Even we don't know where they hide. As you ponder this mystery, I hope you all have a very Happy Halloween!

They are adorable in that first photo with their fruit. hehe. I'm glad you all made it happy and well fed :) Sounds like everybody had a good time, if not busy. Little people take a lot of energy. hehe.

Babysitting is hard work. My cats do the same whenever anyone come by. No one knows we have inside cats, just the outside beggars who don't care who gives them their next meal.

Such sweet looking children. So glad you all had a great time. I wonder where our energy went, as we used to keep up with the kids fairly well.

It's nice that you get to spend quality time with your grands. I'm sure Mom and Dad were much more comfortable knowing they were in loving hands.

A blessing all the way around: parents know kiddos are safe, kiddos are happy to see their Grands, and Grands are thrilled to spend time with the kiddos!

You are such generous grandparents. I remember toddlers/preschoolers being challenging when I was in my 30s! It looks like everyone had a great time.

Look under the bed Wasn't the weather nasty for all the little ones. We had no visitors as the wind and rain was just to much. The river is raging and the Falls are roaring. I guess I shouldn't have asked for rain (that we so desperately needed). Ask and they shall deliver I guess. I bet you are tired but oh what fun.
