It's Getting Longer!

The scarf is almost twice as long as it was! With the exception of the game on this past Sunday, the Scoreboard Scarf is up to date! (Each game is separated by a grey row, the dark blue represents our score, and the green is our opponent's score. Each row = one point.) It's about time for more yarn!  I'm thinking there's way too much green, and I need to get crackin' as there's another game on Thursday and 50 rows to add before then.......

Here I am working away before the game turned "sour".  Dee asked for a photo of the cats, and you can see how excited they are by football.

Not only did I catch up on the scarf, I completed two Christmas stockings for our local Ronald McDonald house.  Each year our group makes over 80 stockings, so my contribution isn't much, but at least I do something.  Right in the middle of this project, my sewing machine started making horrible noises and quit stitching correctly.  I fiddled around with it, but it wasn't till DH watched my fiddling that it started behaving.  Guess that's what happens when you're confronted by an engineer!?

The other day when we looked out our bedroom window, we saw this wonder.  Spiders must be the ultimate lace makers!  It's more filled in now and reminds me of a lace doily.

We are going to be spending time this weekend with these two.  Don't you just love how they are concentrating?

Hope everyone has a great week, too.  Happpy Stitching!

I love that you are separating the games out with a gray row. I really like that detail. I'm a fan of this project!

I love the picture of you knitting with the cats. I'm glad Dee put in the request. hehe. You look like a queen on your throne with your loyal subjects surrounding you on both sides. hehe. Love it!

Small people focus it's the best. I've been so nostalgic for the ghost of childhood past in my own son and his pals. I saw them building something on the living room floor this weekend and almost started weeping for yesteryears ...

Have fun with those two!

You have such cute grandkids.

Love the photo with the kitties. They look very happy to be snuggled up with "mom".

I like the idea of the score scarf. Maybe I should do something like that with my hockey team. Of course, the stripes would be narrow. Hockey scores don't get too high (usually). LOL

If I were a sports fan, I'd be knitting one of these scarves. I love how yours is turned out and agree with Ellen that the gray separating the games is genius.

Love the photo of the web in progress - what a delight to capture it with a photo.

That scarf is going to wrap around several times, but I do like the idea.

The stockings are a great idea.

And those kiddos are super cute.

I still remember the web you posted last year. This one's a beauty. I hope your team scores more often, or you are going to wind up with a very green scarf! Which color is great with me, but not with you. LOL Your stockings are adorable! If 40 members each made 2 stockings, you'd have 80 in no time! Have fun with the munchkins.

I think that cats show their appreciation by sleeping!
