Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

It's chilly and foggy again today.  We just got back from our walk where we saw lots of evidence of freezing fog, so Dick went back out with his camera.

Tree branches high and low were lightly frosted.

Can you see the car in this picture?

In the summer these hardy rose bushes have flowers and leaves; today they are dusted with ice.

Spider webs were iced, too.  Any brave flies could see them easily!

This spider web reminds me of an icy trampoline.

At least today the frost was confined to the vegetation, and the black ice was temporarily  gone from the roads and sidewalks.  Last Thursday we heard a car take the curve too fast and jump the curb a ways behind us. Walks can be very interesting!

As usual Judy, your photographs are sensational. I love how you seek out the different perspectives. It's not too bad to be cold if you know {ahem} someone who knits....

Great photos!

Glad that you were not in the area where the car took the curve too fast. Be careful out there!

Nice photos, Judy! That damp cold is worse, in my opinion, than the dry cold we get, although the temps here are lots lower. Damp cold seems to just chill to the bone!

Thanks for stopping in. Yeah, sounds like you have some interesting walks!

Such similar weather we are having.

Frost and Ice on the branches, evergreens etc.

Your images are just beautiful

The winter photos are beautiful and really show the various effects of fog and ice that make the air soooo cold. Great shots of the spider's webs!

the spider trampoline reminds me of a hammock!

Be careful on your walks.

Hopefully when you come to Florida you'll have some warmer temps!

Funny the last blog I was on mentioned a 'freezing fog'. I have never heard the term before. Off to google and see if my assumption is right. Wonderful photos.
