Recently when we were out walking, I happened to glance down and saw this beauty. By the time we got home, it was looking kind of wilted but I tried to press it anyhow. Well, the next time I looked, it was rolled into a ball! Ack! But one of my trusty sewing pins helped me to unroll it and press it properly. At any rate, we did have a lucky week!
Look what we found!
Yesterday was the first time since Daniel's arrival that we talked on the phone with David. He is so excited to have a little brother and just couldn't understand why Daniel couldn't spend the night in the spot he'd made for him at the foot of his bed. He told me, "We have 5 people in our family now."
A proud big brother
A package is winging its way to Chicago with a few goodies for the whole family. Very soon we'll be headed that way, too. I cannot wait!

My goodness, more babies! Daniel is precious, and his big brother looks very excited and happy! I've enjoyed seeing all your knitting projects.
What a precious picture of the two brothers. That's a keeper for sure. A 4 leaf clover. Alls I've been seeing is weeds. I shall have to look closer. Yes the weather is a keeper, isn't it. I must say though I try to get in the yard by 7 or 8 and try to get out of the heat by noon. Then I sew or draw if I have any energy left. LOL Sharon
During recess in elementary school, we would search for four leaf clovers in the outfield of the ball diamond. I used to have a scrapbook with them all pasted inside. It was a lot of fun to find them. Sweet picture of David and Daniel.
Lucky is RIGHT!!! What a gorgeous family you have and it's always a BEAUTIFUL time when a new person joins the family...Enjoy every magical moment...especially when you get to hold that little bundle of love..I think I'd sit there for hours and hours and never let him go....
Awww...how sweet! David is going to be a wonderful big brother.
