Stocking # 3 and Our Backyard

Yesterday I just finished my last Christmas stocking with this really fun fabric. This one is two-sided.  I think I mentioned that my quilt group makes these for the Ronald MacDonald House in Seattle.

Lately, we've had some interesting things in our backyard, including a Steller's Jay that loves to eat peanuts whole and some very interesting mushrooms.

Do you know what these mushrooms are?

~~~
                                         Enjoy this day and have a great weekend!
That's a beautiful bird! As for those mushrooms, I think they might just be alien eggs. They are kind of scary.
The stockings are too sweet--good job! The bird is so pretty! Google says the mushrooms are pear shaped puff balls!
Stellar Jays sure are pretty. Our jays (and the juncos) are back. That means winter is here.
Your stockings are pretty. I especially like the first one, such cute fabric. And for such a worthy cause. LOVE the bird picture. I've seen Stellar Jays but yours is sooooooo blue. No clue what the fungi are, but they're cool to look at. I've been enjoying visiting everyone on my blog list to catch up, as it's been too many months since I've blogged. It feels good to get back into it.
I know those stockings are going to be loved and the Stellar Jay is gorgeous. I love mushrooms but no way would eat eat any from the wild, (or backyard), I know I'd poison myself.
Blessings,
Betsy
Visiting today from Traveling Suitcase, it's been way to long since I've blogged so it's fun catching up with everyone on my blog list. I would be afraid to eat mushrooms in the wild. I wouldn't know what to look for to know if they were good or dangerous.
