Guess what?

Do you remember the earlier corn plant picture?  Well, a few days ago we noticed a funny smell in our living room, and sure enough, that crazy plant had bloomed again without our noticing it! It had never bloomed twice before, and this time it was on a different part of the plant.
We quickly cut the flower off and threw it outside! Now we are thinking about pruning it.  We'll see.

Have a nice Memorial Day weekend!

I take it that it isn't a pleasant smell?

I had an orchid one time where the flower smelled like wet paper sacks OR a plumbing leak behind the drywall.

Eww! I remember that smell. Not very good. :-) Congrats on it blooming again though. It must be happy.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

I've never heard of that plant before. Stinky flowers is just wild. I suppose there is a reason for it in nature.

My corn plant lives outside so smell isn't an issue but I did notice how much the moths loved the smell and were attracted to it!

That's so funny - none of my corn plants have ever bloomed! You must be doing something right!
