Are you surprised that I made yet another Barley hat? This one is child-sized and will be donated to one of my favorite local charities, KidVantage. It provides clothing, diapers, and school supplies to babies and children through 8th grade. Years ago, I used to work with one of the directors at Eastside Literacy.

Last month I mentioned that our older daughter's father-in-law had a second stroke, and we just learned that he passed away early Saturday morning. So we will be attending his service this weekend. We are sad, but happy that he's finally at peace and in a better place. Hope you all have a nice week!
