Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Despite the smoky skies here during the waning days of August, our garden continued to surprise us with these pretties.

And we had a visitor that wasn't a deer!

Can you spot him?

This guy keeps showing up, too, and occasionally even brings a friend.

And best of all I finally finished this long-standing UFO!

Have a happy Labor Day weekend, everyone!

Love the hummingbird! We had a couple in the garden this year, but I couldn't get a picture!

Absolutely stunning shawl. The flowers are very pretty too. It’s so dry here. We have had several clear days but some smoke to the west tonight. Hopefully it’s gone tomorrow morning.
Blessings,
Betsy

Wow, your flowers are beautiful but I love the bird photos too. Your finished long standing UFO gives me hope. I picked one up. I don't have the time to finish it yet, but I have to dent it ...
