This hat turned out way too big for the person it was for, so I'm making another smaller one.
When the youngest grandson saw the rainbow socks, he asked for a red pair. Hope these fit!
I was in the midst of holiday projects, when DD#1 requested hats and socks for a teacher's baby. This little infant is facing lots of challenges at birth, so these projects come with lots of good thoughts and best wishes.
A couple Fridays ago, Becca and I went to the annual Block Party Quilters show. Most of my photos didn't turn out because I was using a different camera, but luckily these two did:
The Camp River Ranch blocks on this t-shirt quilt brought back lots of fun memories of Girl Scout campouts with the daughters. They both enjoyed summer camp there, too.
This was my very favorite quilt of the whole show. It's been years since I put on a pair of skates, but I sure had fun when I did!
Yesterday when we were coming home from volunteering at the hospital, the moon was just rising. Close to the horizon, it looked huge. This photo doesn't beging to capture its beauty.
Tonight the moon will be full, so I hope you can take time out from the season's busyness to enjoy it, too. And most of all, have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes busy time of the year, I'm just waiting for the bread machine to finish so I can make buns.
Lots of wonderful things coming off your needles!!!
have a happy Thanksgiving
Busy, busy, busy! Those of us who are fortunate to have family at this time of year are enjoying the busyness :-) I usually hate to cook, but I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner with my mom for all our family! I'm doing some knitting too - it's the one thing I can do in the car and not get sick - but nothing ready to share. Love those small socks!!!! I made hats for the littlest granddaughters, but I think they may have been a little small looking at the pictures.
You have been busy! I don't dare show Daughter that skate quilt or she'll want me to make her one. It is adorable.
You have been so busy! Happy Thanksgiving!

The moon WAS huge and gorgeous last night.
Snowing here today and into tonight and tomorrow. I hope the predicted 8-12 inches are an exaggerated estimate.
Happy Thanksgiving
What a varied and wonderful post. You are so busy in so many ways! Those little socks are the cutest things. I can just imagine the tiny feet for them. ;) I LOVE the skates quilt! That's too cute.
Judy. THankful for our little friendship. So enjoyed our visit this summer. Thank YOU For volunteering. Wish Dick a great day also.
Hope you get to knit a bit
Hi Judy,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Hope you are having a fabulous day.
Oh, that skaters quilt is so wonderful and fun! Love the colours and the different
fabrics used to make up each pair of skates.
Your knitting projects turned out well ... although it's too bad about the hat. Can
you unravel it and use the wool for something else? Or perhaps you know someone
who has a head big enough for it to fit?
Oh yes, the days are speeding by ultra fast. It's so frustrating as we try to get
stuff done while still enjoying the traditions and events.
Lovely flowers. Gorgeous colours!!
Cheers!
two nights ago the moon was big and beautiful. I have more on my knitting list and I hope I get it done in time. Lovely projects bummer about the hat being too big.
Judy, you must be an amazingly fast knitter you churn out so many wonderful projects.
