Just a few more rows, and I'll be finished with this project! I used what was left from Stella's sweater and a multi-colored version of Bamboo Pop called Lollipop to make another one for Sophia. I have just a few more rows to do, the ends to sew in and 3 buttons to attach, and it will be done. It takes a lot longer to knit for an almost eight year old than for an almost two year old, that's for sure!
My sister sent this photo yesterday. Ted caught a 5 pound walleye. They said it was delicious! He looks pretty pleased, doesn't he?
And hurrah, the deer hasn't discovered the new blossom on my crocosmia! Yet.....
Things here are getting back to normal after our exciting, crazy time away, and we are enjoying geting used to our new car. Should have taken a photo, but maybe we will by next week. Have a good weekend! And don't forget to check out Patchwork Times to see what's on everyone else's needles.

That sweater is as cute as the last. SOOOO Pretty. I love your flowers and the only fish I'd eat as a child was Walleye. My father used to go to Canada each spring and fall and catch his limit of walleye
Excellent news on the knitting, fishing & gardening fronts!
Did you mention what kind of new car you bought?
Do you and Dick make do with only one car? I'm not so sure that when Steve retires that we can do that, but it sure would be tempting. The problem is living so far out of town.....you can't get ANYWHERE without a car.
The knitted piece is soooo cute.
I can almost taste that fresh fish!!
Sweater, definitely cute. Fish, definitely ugly. =) I love that you used your blossom as a blog header. Also, definitely beautiful.
Beautiful work on the swather for Sophia. So glad the deer have let you enjoy such a pretty flower.
That's a cute little sweater. Are the girls sisters so they will wear them at the same time.
Adorable sweater. Someone is going to love it!
Your little sweater is adorable! I love the pattern. The fish is impressive, too. Glad it was tasty.
You never cease to amaze me with what you can do with yarn.
The sweater looks great....and I bet you even got all the buttonholes right!
Your latest sweater is as cute as the first. I love fresh walleye and it brings back memories of my DH and I going to Canada each year for a fishing trip. Nothing better than shore lunch with freshly caught fish. That is a very impressive bloom. I have never seen anything like that before. Does it have a good scent?
I love that flower. And I'm interested in hearing about what car you got and how you decided!
That flower is amazing, I have never seen one like it.
Hugs,
Meredith
Isn't it fun when you are near the end of a project? love that feeling!! Have fun with the new car, always a delight!!
Cuuute sweater, Judy! We've been having crazy times around here too. LOL! I'll be looking forward to seeing a photo of your new car. blessings and hugs ~ tanna
Ted looks very pleased! I remember going out fishing for Walleye when I was 12/13 with my cousin Brian. I don't remember if we/he caught anything but it was a very pleasant time.
