Off the Needles and Then Some!

Several projects popped off my needles this past week. These are a pair of Jaywalker sock, a fun knit with widely striping yarn.

This hat was delivered to Stella last weekend.  Max's is still on the needles.

A friend's daughter recently had a little girl named Georgia, and these booties are winging their way over to her house.  That pink angora yarn was just waiting in my stash for a reason to hop on the needles.

Alex and Ben are awake and wearing their sneaker booties. Whatever are they thinking/saying? Thanks for the photo, Wendy.

And what do you suppose this critter is searching for?

It's the first time in ages that we've seen a raccoon in our yard.  Haven't seen him since, so he must of found whatever it was!  Have a great week!  And check in with Judy to see what others have on their needles.

Love your knitting projects. Where did you find your yarn? I just finished one and working on the other Kim Goddard sock pattern using fingering wt yarn. Where can I find the pattern for the booties. They look like they work up quickly and adorable. U can keep your coon and I will trap some ground squirrels and send. They have arrived in my flowers.

That is a darling hat! I saw a kit in the Las Vegas shop very similar to it.

absolutely love the socks! I tried making socks at the beginning of the year and it was an epic fail for me. I was happily knitting the cuff and forgot to keep count of my rows...had to frog and have not used the needles since. I have always wanted a pair of knitted socks and maybe one day I will try again. Yours are beautiful! The little hat is so very cute and I am sure she loved it.

The hat is adorable! Love the expression on those little guys faces. I have never knit socks...tried once to learn to do magic loop but I couldn't get it. Socks are on my knitting bucket list though.

I love your jaywalkers, really beautiful. I'm trying to enjoy sock patterns that aren't vanilla again. I don't know if you know this, but they require a little more attention ;)

I wish the babies could caption their own expressive photo. hehe. so cute. the booties are awesome modeled as well.

As for the raccoon. I'm caught between kinda cute when it's on all fours and still absolutely terrified at how mean they can be.

happy week to you too!

Those hats with the toppers are really cute!
The picture of the twins is one for the books. Someone will pull it out when the boy on the right gets married! So cute and funny.

Your Jaywalkers turned out cute.

I've only made that pattern once, and they turned out just a little too snug for my foot.

Caption: "I think the doggie ate your binki!"

Ha. Such a cute photo. And your knitted hat and booties are so precious! Isn't it fun to knit those little baby projects?!!

The wide stripes on the socks look pretty cool. Very Nice!!

Great socks and booties. I tried to make booties last summer but they turned out REALLY big. I have never seen yarn that yields fat stripes, where do you get that?

Love your socks and booties and hat. The sock colors with wide stripes is a new one for me. Your twins are too cute and look so darling in their sneakers. They will be trend setters in those cute shoes!
