Our garden is in full bloom! I just love this time of year, especially after the gray days of winter and a very rainy spring.
The golden chain tree is done now, but the Korean dogwood is just filled with blooms. When its flowers fade, they are replaced with a fruit that looks like a strawberry, and the birds and squirrels devour them.
Speaking of birds, this Steller's Jay has been a frequent and noisy visitor. He's too big to eat at our bird feeder but loves peanuts! Sometimes we are visited by two of them.
The rhododendrons are blooming also. They seem to blossom at different times and add lots of color to our yard. This red one is especially pretty right now.
Columbines are among my favorite flowers along with roses.

Columbines are SO pretty. I don't think we have those here. Maybe they need cooler weather than we get.

Your flowers and flowering trees are beautiful. What a treat to see these pictures. A little rain and humidity do marvelous things!
The lilacs have just finished blooming as have the apple and plum trees. It will be a while before any flowers, other than those purchased from a nursery, will bloom.
It must be wonderful to be surrounded with so many beautiful blooming shrubs and trees this time of year. Thanks for sharing your great photos.

Lovely photos. We added columbine to the garden this year. Your rose reminds me of my favorite peace rose.
I still have a couple of iris blooming that weren't beat down by the hail. I have made several of those little hats and just luv em.
