Do you think they wanted to check on my knitting? Well, I'm working on yet another project with some lime-green Sublime cotton soy yarn I found in my stash, realizing that the person I'd had in mind for this project is growing taller by the minute and that I'd better get cracking and use it.
The pattern is from the Sublime book # 610 and is the cap-sleeved version of the Little Red Smock, called Frangipani. The yarn color is cucumber, but I like lime-green better. It's nice yarn but is a bit splitty. And I found some perfect buttons at Twisted in Portland. Back to work!

You should see the elk in the fields between Snoqualmie and North Bend. Around 5PM the other day there had to be at the very least 80! Yes 80 both sides of the road. Of course no place to pull over to take photos. :-)
They look lovely but I know they can be quite destructive.
Such a treat to see wildlife in their own element.
The pale green yarn is lovely. Happy knitting!
Oh wow! We see signs of deer in the park up the road, but they never wander down to our neighborhood.
Cool picture of the deer! They are beautiful animals. I know you don't really want them in your yard, but they are a treat to see.
I like that pale green yarn!
LOL! I think they WERE checking on your knitting... and were pleased! Such a beautiful color! I find all cotton to be a bit splitty to me. =( But, I sure do like the end result! blessings ~ tanna
I love deer and think they're beautiful but I also know how destructive they can be in the garden. We don't see too many in our neighbourhood.
The visitors were kind not to eat your veg! Pretty green beginning! Have a great fall weekend!
the only wild life in my back yard is gophers and we try to shoot them. always new names for colors looks sweet
Aren't the deer pretty! Glad you got this photo - and glad they didn't eat your yard. That green yarn is gorgeous!
Oh my gosh ... isn't that buck a handsome guy???? :-)
Beautiful deer !! like a lawn ornament only the real thing! I saw several laying down in a meadow on my way home from work the other night around 8 pm chicago time....I was glad they stayed put and didnt get out on the road!
There has been a yearling moose wandering around down in Denver. Can you believe it? I only seem to get rabbits and skunks. Ugh. That green is so soft and lovely.
I love when the deer visit our yard, it happens more in the fall, we are a no shooting zone for them ;) Love the mint green!!!
Wow! That's a great picture of the deer! They almost look like statues! So beautiful!
