Off the Needles

No Sock  knitting for me this week.  Instead, I finished this beaded bracelet.  It's knit with Kreinik metallic braid and was a fun project.  The kit was from Earthfaire.

I also had fun finishing this sparkly ruffled scarf.    When I saw this yarn (Starbella Flash) at Joann's, it just said Happy New Year to me.  Ruffle yarns are interesting to knit and offer lots of choices.

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.  We sure did, celebrating Max's first and so thankful to have him as part of our Seattle family.  (We had to be content with just talking with our Chicago family.)

Aw, Max looks like he enjoyed Thanksgiving! The bracelet is gorgeous. You knitted it? So you knit and then add a bead, etc. ? WOW. Very impressive!!

Your knitted beading is beautiful and I love your ruffle scarf. It does say New Years Eve or at least -- party time.

Happy Thanksgiving Judy! I love your bracelet finish. So pretty! I recently saw a crocheted necklace at my craft group and you would swear it had beads on it but not so. It was so different.
The ruffle scarf is lovely too. They seem to be very popular this year. I know of several friends who are knitting them.

Love the bracelet. I've not seen that kit, but I have knit with wire and beads; I like to make jewelry too. The knitted scarf does shout "special occasion!" Very nice.

Lovely family picture!

The bracelet is really something--and just in time for Christmas, the bracelets or the kits would be great gifts.
