Snow in April?

What's going on? Yesterday we woke up to SNOW on the roof tops and the grass! Granted, it wasn't a whole lot of snow, but the calendar does say April, doesn't it? And this morning, a tiny hummingbird was right up next to the window, probably wanting to come in away from the snow and rain that was falling. Yikes! I sure hope this isn't indicative of what the weather's going to be like during the rest of the month. Catherine's wedding dress is not made of fur!

Meanwhile in the Midwest, our grandkids are enjoying some sunshine. Maybe they'll bring some of it with them?

We've been chuckling over this photo of Sophia because it reminded us of one of the BRIDE, taken in 1975.

Can you tell that they're related?

Adorable grandkids! They are having to much fun in the sun! And yes, we woke up to snow a few days ago here in the Northwest! Crazy!

Love the high heels. Not exactly Big Wheel driving shoes, but very stylish!

Obviously Sophie has that same stylish bent --- love the hat!

Beautiful grandkids. Bet you're looking forward to being with them.

We had snow last night in SW Michigan. Just a light dusting. Very unwelcome.

We had April SNOW showers too - about 4" of it, but it melted the next day. That's the good thing about Spring snow, it melts fast!

Adorable pictures! That is funny about the similarity of the girls in hats, on bikes!

Have a warmer week!

We had snow on Easter, and continue to have lots of cold and rain. It looks like summer will creep in slowly this year. It's a good thing you have your grandchildren to be your rays of sunshine.

They are so cute, just like their grandmother. I am about to give up on our weather.
