As you may have heard on the new, the weather here has been a bit crazy. They called it a bomb cyclone. Our power was out for 2 days, and there are still areas that are out. So it's been chilly and extra dark lately. However, I finally have a couple of finishes to share.
Jeck is the name of this pattern. I matched them up pretty well, but I have no idea why they look like two different sizes.
I really love this pattern for mitts and have made it several times! It's called Love Bug Mitts.
That's all for now! We have our fingers crossed that the wind storm predicted for today won't cause so many outages and at least allow people, whose power still is out, to get their power back! Happy Friday!

I heard about your weather...sorry you were without power! Love your two knitty finishes! :)
And to think I was complaining about being out of power for a few hours. That's a long time to go without. I hope the weather calms itself down for you.
The socks and the mitts look great. I'm finally getting to wear my woollies. I hope it stays seasonal this time. I'm so over hot and humid.
I have heard from lots of people back there about the weather and also watched it on the news. I hope the storm today wasn't nearly as bad. I just printed that wrist warmer pattern out yesterday! Great minds think alike.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
I'm so sorry about the storm fallout!!! The knits you've accomplished are great!
That was a tough storm. We were 3.5 days without power and another without internet. Somehow it seemed harder than the snow outages, not sure why. Out grocery stores are in sad shape and I need to find a turkey. I also got some serious knitting done.
sorry about the stormy weather I hope you get some calm days. Those mitts are so cute!
Nothing like a little knitting to get you through!
Oh my sorry to hear about the outages. That's hard to deal with during cold weather. Hopefully it won't happen again. Love the colors in the socks...they look the same size to me. What pretty cables on your fingerless mitts. Stay warm.
