This prayer shawl was finished last Monday and is on its way to its new home, hoping to bring comfort to someone who needs a bit of extra love right now.
Finally, this quilt is going to get its binding. It's been so long since I've bound a quilt, I almost forgot how to do it! There are several more patiently waiting also.
There are lots of other WIPs screaming for my attention, but I couldn't resist a couple of new projects. The Knitters Brewing Co.
is having a very interesting and fairly challenging, at least for me, KAL. It's a top-up (not my forte) sock in a pattern called Snow Dancer. So far I've got one snowflake done, we'll see how far I get on the rest! (It's got beads on the cuff, too.)
Mere's been knitting lots and lots of beautiful dishcloths lately, and I found a link to this fun pattern on her blog. It's called The Almost Lost Washcloth. (Seems like there should be a story there, doesn't it?) Check out her blog, and you'll be glad you did!
Now I need to get back to the Christmas Stocking that's been misbehaving or something. At any rate, I've been making negative progress (frogging) and would really like to make two more along with some other stuff before you know when. See ya! And oh, don't forget to check out Patchwork Times for some more ideas.

Pretty, pretty, pretty! I know what you mean about forgetting how to bind a quilt...but once you start it's like falling off a log. Don't hurt yourself!
Oh my, those snowflake socks are going to be beautiful. I'm eager to see them progress to the cuff. Please post more photos as you add inches.
I have multiple projects screaming for attention too and really must get busy on them.
Love the color you chose for the dishcloth. Hope the frogs go bye bye soon.
Your shawl is so very lovely...what yarn did you use? Just lovely...your quilt will be so nice when finished.
I love the shawl, so generous of you my friend. Thank you for the mention on the dishcloths, they are fun to make and so fast!
Hugs,
Meredith
BEAUTIFUL prayer shawl. Love your first snowflake sock...so cool!
That is such a pretty sock. I wish I could get the hand of toe-up socks.
I've been admiring Mere's dishcloths, too. I'm thinking of knitting a pile for holiday season 2015 -- nothing like thinking ahead!
The snowflake socks look like they will be beautiful but hard to do. I look forward to seeing your progress.
OMG - I love those socks!!!! I will have to put the pattern in my library for now though - too many other projects in progress. I'll enjoy watching yours take shape!
Good for you for getting to the binding! It'll be nice to have a red and white finish for Christmas, no matter what the embroidery is. Love the sock pattern. You can totally do this. I have confidence in you. =)
I've really been enjoying catching up on all your adventures and admiring your amazing needlework on your other sites. Thanks for stopping by my "web"!
I know whoever gets that shawl will filled loved! The quilt is beautiful and I love the red, so cheerful! I need to start some projects after seeing your current ones.
So many pretty projects, Judy. The socks look lovely. And I'll have to take a look at the cloth pattern.
Wow, great projects going! Your sock looks like a good start to me! I've never done toe up before.
