April Projects

While most of April was consumed with celebrating Catherine and Brent's wedding, I did manage to complete a couple of sweaters just in the nick of time.

The last button was sewn on this one for David about 15 minutes before we left to pick up Jill's family at the airport.

And this one for Sophia was finished a few days earlier. Now I need to get busy and knit something for Daniel! (The details for these sweaters can be found on Ravelry.)

Earlier in the month I worked on the Christmas SAL but forgot to report. My progress is pretty slow and slowed down even more by sore hands, a reminder that I can't stick at stitching like I used to.

Beautiful sweaters. Lucky grandchildren who have a grandmother who makes them such lovely things. Cute little heart buttons!

Love the sweaters they are so cute.

I can sympathize about sore hands, when the mind is willing but the body doesn't want to play along.

Cute, cute, cute. Of course, I like the pink sweater. The heart pattern is darling.

Thanks for stoping by to visit and for you kind words. Yes, I did make the face. Looking back at the process, I should have made a few more. LOL.

I also wanted to say that the bride and groom look absolutely in love! And WOW what a great place to honeymoon (green with envy here!)

Have a great weekend!

You are just amazing. Put on a wedding, host the family, cook the meals, plan the outings, look after the little ones...oh, and knit up a few outstanding sweaters while you're at it. No big deal, right?
